Kyle Querec began his career as a guitarist for producer Jonathon Elias.  He was taught by the late Dean Powell, a protégé of legendary Jazz Producer Teo Macero.  Powell was trained at the famous Juilliard School.  After ten years of training in composition, theory and performance under Powell’s direction, Kyle headed off to the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

After graduating in 1990 Querec moved to New York where he worked with some of the city's best music production houses:  Audiobrain, Bilous-Dibucci Music, and Elias Associates just to name a few.  Kyle has had extensive work in sports, writing the Major League Soccer Anthem with Audiobrain as well as music for The NFL on NBC, The French Open, and The US Open. His music has been featured over twenty times in four Olympic broadcasts and he was a producer for the 1996 and 2008 games, the latter of which received an Emmy award.  

Kyle currently Composes for the company Haus Music and Sound. Scoring for the TV shows American Pickers, True Conviction, 10 Things You Didn’t Know, The Aquarium, The Deed, Filthy Rich, The Zoo and Alone. He also has scored for the films Six Tulips and The Fay Lindsay Jones Story and recently the Netflix movie, “It Started as a Joke.”

The second season of MUSIC MINDED is set to take off this Fall.. Kyle will be hosting MUSIC MINDED, which features guest musicians from all over the globe.
