Tim Barr – Recording Artist. New York, NY

I have been fortunate enough to play guitar with Slash, Tom Morello, Perry Farrell, Mike Longo, Lana Del Rey and many others. I have been featured in USA Today, Brooklyn Magazine, and Vice. I have composed music for American Express, Pennzoil, and American Pickers. My band Silverbird has performed around the country and opened up for Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Ours, and STYX and has received rave reviews in the NYC music scene.

Kyle is the reason I have been able to achieve any of this. He taught me my first chord and was my guitar teacher for 10 years. He is a brilliant teacher, not just for his musical and technical knowledge, but for his ability to connect with his students on a deeply personal level as well as create a fun atmosphere that is humorous while still maintaining the proper degree of seriousness and focus. Kyle always pushed me to be my best, and he was there for me in my darkest of times becoming at times much more than a music teacher; a role model, a mentor and friend.

Kyle always supported my creativity and helped me to foster my songwriting abilities. I cannot thank him enough for that amazing gift that has now become my life and I also cannot recommend him enough as a truly gifted and generous musician and teacher.

Caleb Burghardt – Worship Leader. Taunton, MA.

Kyle made a great effort to be as personal as possible with all of his students. He would remember and ask about what was going on in our lives and do his best to encourage us. His love for music is contagious and made me want to practice harder, week after week. His patience and mentorship really made taking lessons memorable and something that has shaped my life ever since. I gained an

immense amount of skill taking lessons from Kyle, along with a better idea of what it means to be a hard working, humble musician who uses his talents to beneUit others.

Tim Ehrhart - Senior at Berklee College of Music. Boston, MA.

Kyle is a perfect balance between the creative spark, the discipline, freedom, and experience, which allowed me to grow exponentially as a musician. This was incredibly important in my life because I was able to grow as a musician that affected all aspects of my musicianship, not just my guitar playing as a result of Kyle's instruction and mentorship. His speaking from experience in the industry, and in his ability makes him a very respected teacher, and makes students want to listen, and get better.

Eileen Medley – Mother of Wyatt Medley. Durhamville, NY.

Kyle Querec is a kind, compassionate guitar instructor, as well as an honorable gentleman. He instructed my son, Wyatt, in guitar for about Uive years. Wyatt progressed quickly and has developed a lifetime love and understanding of music because of Kyle. During that time, I can earnestly say that Kyle did not only teach my son to play well and have a great desire to practice diligently, he also showed by example the kindness, patience and humbleness a man should have. His example before my son will have a life long impact. I would highly recommend that Kyle Querec be hired by your organization before he is snatched up by another. There are few men in this life like Kyle.

Patrick Breen – Singer/Songwriter. New York, NY.

Kyle was my First guitar teacher and coach. I had a pretty active musical upbringing; I studied piano for 7 years, as well as music theory in school. I picked up the guitar somewhere along the way and fell in love with it. My background allowed me to study the guitar on my own for a number of years before seeking an instructor. As a songwriter and gigging musician, I knew my way around the guitar well enough to perform comfortably, solo and play along with just about any chart that was put in front of me. Strangely enough I lacked a lot of fundamental knowledge about guitar theory, scales, etc. Kyle was able to put together a lesson plan for me that quickly taught me some of the fundamentals that I was lacking and he showed me how to immediately apply these to my playing. The education and experience he has had in music allows him to teach without compromising, in my case, the uniqueness of an artist. Many times I'd Uind him pointing out what is "technically" correct in contrast to what I was playing. However, he did it in a way that was presenting the knowledge and not trying to change what makes my playing unique. Above all else, Kyle is the type of person who you just want to be around; he has a great energy and positivity. Learning an instrument can often be tedious and difUicult but Kyle makes the learning experience exciting and engaging.

Robbin Anne Ross - Grandmother to Austin Reals. Jordan, NY.
